Dear Mr. Saurabh,
I have not used Temperature loading in ANSYS, but I have used it in SAP2000 Non-linear package. Like other loading, SAP2000 NL has the option of Temperature loading input both as gradient as well as overall variation in temperature (like a steel structure undergoing increase /decrease in temperature for seasonal variation or so). In SAP2000NL, while putting the temperature gradient, care should be taken so that you use "(Temp increase or decrease /thickness of the slab)" and not "Temp increase or decrease".
I have mentioned the case of SAP2000NL, since you have indicated "or any other software package in which it is possible" in your mail. I am sure there must be similar options in ANSYS too. Friends using ANSYS may definitely throw lights on this.

Hi all,
Can any one tell me how to apply temperature gradient across the slab 厚度模型at center line so as to use Shell element, in ANSYS. If there is any other way to model the deck slab i.e. with some other element or like so as to apply the temperature gradient across the bridge deck or any slab. If any one has any kind of idea or suggestion in this regard, then do share, it could be of great help to me. Main problem is "How to Apply TEMERATURE GRADIENT across slab thickness in ANSYS". or any other software package in which it is possible or any other idea in this regard.
Regards,
Saurabh Gupta.
