Dear eConf Participants,

I would like to share my recent experience. One of our clients asked for a Pre-Engineered Building conforming to IS Codes. To our surprise, all PEB manufacturers conform only to American 'standards' which are actually guidelines by the MBMA (Metal Building Manufacturers Association). Being an association created by the Manufacturers, they are quite lenient in some aspects to their advantage!

What is the reason for the same?
