Hello
It is very disappointing to know that BIS committee membership
is drawn mainly from those around Delhi.
Where as , the members should be selected from all over India based on
their
知识和经验,形成了一个委员会for a particular purpose.
BIS should reimburse all the members to attend committee meetings
irrespective
of them being in private field or in govt. organisations as proposed by
moderators.

I agree with prof. ARC that BIS activities has to be web based.
One of the advantage will be that draft codes can be sent to the interested
members.
