Model the Bearings using spring elements.The rotational and translational stiffnesses of the SPRINGelement can be assigned from the elastic properties of the bearing.
eg:- Axial stiffness = E of bearing*planArea/thickness.

hello sir ,
this is anurag ghatole , a p.g student.
i think that hinges can also be modelled by defining hinge in the the
define menu..
ya hemanth sir could u plz tell me how do we specify rotational stiffness
inSAP.

i m currently working on soil structure interaction part in the modelling of
bridges and finding it very difficult to simulate the soil behaviour are
there any methods by which i can simulate it perfectly..........
