通常我们释放成员哪里有absence of sufficient moment transfer and the connection is not fixed or rigid.

I presume that you have a member between A and B, another member between C and D, and a 3rd member between B and D. By cantilevers, you are refering to the first and second members. Am I right?
If the 3rd member is merely resting on the first and second, and not attached through a proper moment connection in the case of steel, or a monolithic construction in the case of concrete, then you need to release MY and MZ on the first and second members. But MX should be released in one of those two only. Releasing MX on both of them will make the 3rd member torsionally unstable.
Alternatively, you can release MX, MY and MZ at node B of member 3, and MY and MZ at node D of member 3. In this case, you won't release anything in the first and third members.

嗨Maheswaran,

Q. y do we release the member in staad pro

To make the pinned connection we release the moments in the member.

It depends on the engineer if he wants to make the beam simply supported (i.e want to transfer only vertical force not the moment, especially in secondary beams ) he can release the moments in staad.pro at both ends (start and end ).

If he wants to release the moment only at one end , he should define either Start or End release specification and assign to the beam at the required end.

With Best,
Saikiran.
