R.H. MAHIMTURA AWARD - 2nd YEAR

"EXCELLENCE IN STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING-2006"

Award for "Excellence in Structural Engineering-2006" is being presented by the India Chapter of ACI in honour of Mr. R H Mahimtura, a leading consulting structural engineer, who has been honoured with 50-year Membership Citation by ACI, USA during its Spring Convention on April 17, 2005 at Hotel Hilton New York, New York.

The award will be for two categories - one for Commercial Buildings and the other for Residential Buildings. Applications are invited from Design Engineers, Consultants, etc. for the same.

* Durability aspects
* Aesthetic beauty
* Environmental compatibility, etc.

The entries should be supported by

* Project highlights
* Design and concept note
* Brief write-up and project details
* Special features
* Details of designers / consultants
* Associates' details, etc.

The above should be in hard copies and in a CD.

An undertaking as regards the authenticity of information and details submitted, should be furnished by the applicant.

All entries and materials submitted with entries shall become the sole property of the India Chapter of ACI, who shall have the right to make the same available through publication in journals of ACI, USA / India Chapter and / or any other publications. This shall include the right to publish the photographs and names of any / all award recipients, without any compensation. In case there are any restrictions about the use of these materials, the participants must notify the India Chapter accordingly while submitting the entry.

Entries for participants upto age limit of 45 will be considered for receipient of this award.
