Dear Sirs,
I am designing load bearing temporary steel towers for the height of 20m. As the height increases the steel frame have to be braced to the concrete structure using some tie member in order to resist the sway. My question is at what height shall I provide the tie members and what is the criteria respective to the widht and height of the frame to provide tie members. Please find the picture attached for better understanding. It is similar to Tower Crane Lateral Ties.
