Dear Sefians,
I'm having a doubt about the load application of the crane outrigger post on the grade slab. is the load pressure on the slab to be calculated based on the dispersion or based on the bearing area? i modelled a concrete grade slab in Staad as plate element and i applied the load as pressure on the slab based on the dispersion of load from top to bottom of slab. is my approach is correct?
