Hi,Freinds
Thanks for youe help and suggestions,
As your suggestion, i should use offset command where there is eccentricity.
In my model all the memebers are connected concentrically. But as per my view if you dont use offset command then at a particular junction there will be addition of mass and as a result stiffness will also get increased. On the other hand if you dont model with offset then clear span will also get reduced. So, think again over my question please.
My second question was whether i should use masterslave or not if i model slab by modelling parallel beams of uniform widths. You are telling that it is better to not to use masterslave if you ensure that all beams will move horizontally parallel to each other and there is rigid diafragm action. But how can i decide that there is rigid diafragm action.
Waiting for your help and suggestion.
Viral.
