Hi all,

This question is for those who use E-Tabs. when u are doing
dynamic analysis in E-Tabs and while defining indian seismic code to
apply the response spectrum, you get a response spectrum which is very
different from the values given in IS1893. by the way there is also an
option to define user defined response spectrum. But a senior designer
at office told me that he has heard in some conference that whatever
reponse spectrum given in E-Tabs is correct. how is that possible when
the values are clearly different from that given in code ?. those who
have some idea about this, please help. thanks in advance
