Hello,
I am currently asigned with design activity of Blast Resistant Building for an Indian project.i.e. by indian codes. I have this doubt regarding pile capacities being increased in two cases
1) MCE Maximum Considered Earthquake
2) Blast Case.
Even after considering the allowable increase for above mentioned cases, piles are not safe....in this line I wanted to know whether I can consider Ultimate Capacities of piles for these cases to check pile nos. I need to convince PMC with some evidence...Can someone help...Thank You....
