For towers connected by common podium clause 8.1.3.3.3 (k) does not allow transfer structure at first connected floor. Does it mean that it can be provided at upper floors. IS 1893_1_2016 does not allow floating columns if thay are part of lateral load resisting system. Here if at upper floors transfer structures exists then it should be lateral load resisting or non lateral load resisting? Floating column as per IS 1893 and transfer structure as per IS 16700 shall be treated separately?
