When your brain works normally you are normal. When your brain has trouble you have trouble in your life. Mental health is essential to all aspects of quality of life. Your Brain is command and control centre that runs your life. The nutrients required are oxygen and glucose. Oxygen comes from the air we breathe and glucose comes from the food we eat. Dr. K. Gireesh in his book has given important tips on how to improve the functioning of human brain.
 1.Eat right balanced diet to think right. � Drink 3 liters of water daily � 5 glass in morning water,5 in the afternoon and 5 in the evening �吃大量的水果和及tables � Eat food rich in omega fatty acids (Sea foods - Salmon, sardine, Vegetables - Broccoli, Spinach, Avocado, Walnut, Flax seed, Tofu) 2.Keep the brain young through mental exercises � Best mental exercise is acquiring new knowledge and doing things that you have not done before � Like learning a new technique, new hobby, new game learning, and a new word each day. 3.Physical exercise and good breathing exercise are very essential. Both improve good blood flow to brain. 4.Protect your fragile brain by wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler. 5.Protect brain from toxic exposure to alcohol and nicotine (stop smoking and drinking alcohol as they are poisons to the brain). 6.Sleep for 6-8 hours every day. 7.Think positively. 8.Protect Brain from ill effects of prolonged stress.
Dr. K. Gireesh says that the above measures if implemented, the Brain will start thinking creatively. Brain dysfunction is the number one reason people fail at school, at work and in relationships.
