Dear SEFIANs,

It was interesting reading about Alpa's observations and also Sangeeta Wij's
comments.

The attitude of Conservation Architects in Delhi is : "NO INTERVENTION
WITH MODERN MATERIALS" had left me aghast and made me turn down
their offers that I provide Structural consultancy on some Heritage
buildings in which
these well known people were involved. They perhaps shy away from other
Structural
Consultants for obvious reasons.

How can we accept their contention of work on a conservation project at
their terms and their quotes of International Accepted Practices on Heritage
Buildings
