Can you pl help me which IS code gives the permissible values to compared for tests results of coarse and fine aggregates.

But i could not find permissible limiting values for chlorides and sulphate content in fine and coarse aggregates. Any other reference ?

Shireesh,
Pls see Cl.5.3.1 of IS456 that limits sulphates as SO3 to 0.5 % for plain cement concrete in slag, crushed verburntb brick etc. Chlorides would be in water or soil. So maybe fine aggregate needs to be checked as per relevant code for chlorides.
